01 — Sound familiar

Where the paperwork gets stuck.

Proposals, consulting agreements and NDAs your clients sign from any device. Here's what usually gets in the way, and what changes.

  • The contract lives in five places

A doc for the draft, a PDF in email, a signing tool somewhere else, and a folder you forget to update.

  • Every client gets a fresh rewrite

You retype the same scope and payment terms for each client because last time's version is buried in a thread.

  • Chasing a signature feels awkward

A polite follow-up takes three drafts, and the start date slips while the agreement sits unsigned.

02 — How it works

How freelancers & consultants use JustDocs.

Four steps, from the first draft to the signed copy on file.

  1. 01

Start from the library or your own words

Pick the consulting or service agreement, or write your own in the editor. The client's name, the fee and the start date are fill-ins you type once.

  2. 02

    Send it as one request

Put the proposal, the agreement and the NDA in one request. Your client gets one link and signs them in one sitting.

  3. 03

    Know where it stands

See when they open it, and send a reminder from the request. One can go out a day at most, so it never turns into nagging.

  4. 04

Reuse it for the next client

Save the finished agreement as a template. The next engagement starts from your words, not a blank page.

03 — From the library

Documents ready to start from.

Each one becomes your own copy to complete and edit before you send it. Unless an entry says it has been professionally reviewed, it hasn't.

04 — Built in

Made for the way you work.

The same workspace for every document: write, upload, send, sign and keep.

  • Signing on any device

Clients open a private link and sign in the browser, on a phone or a laptop, with no account and nothing to install.

  • Fill-ins, not find-and-replace

Names, fees and dates are fill-ins: type them once and they appear everywhere they're used in the document.

  • A record of every step

Each request keeps who was invited, who opened it and who signed, and the signed PDF carries a certificate of completion.

05 — Questions

Freelancers & consultants questions.

Do my clients need a JustDocs account to sign?

No. They open a private link and sign in the browser on any device, and they always sign for free.

Can I use my own contract instead of a library one?

Yes. Write it in the editor, or upload a PDF and place signature, date and text fields on it. Either can be saved as a template for the next client.

Have the library agreements been reviewed by a lawyer?

Not yet. Every library entry says whether it has been professionally reviewed, and none has been so far; some are marked review advised. JustDocs is not a law firm and does not give legal advice.

What happens when everyone has signed?

The request completes with a signed PDF and a certificate of completion. Each recipient can download their own copy for seven days.

What does it cost?

The Free plan includes 3 completed requests a month, with no card needed. Signing packs are one-time purchases (20 credits for $10, 75 for $25, or 200 for $50) whose credits never expire. Business is $19 a month or $190 a year, with 100 completed requests a month; Teams & Platform is $59 a month or $590 a year, with 300 a month shared by its 5 seats. The people you send documents to always sign for free.
